What we do

KK Sports Design is a specialist sportswear design and innovation consultancy working with global brands, emerging businesses and start-ups to create commercially relevant products with purpose.

From creative direction and market insight through to product design, development and sourcing, we bring strategic thinking and hands-on industry expertise to every stage of the process.

Our work spans performance sportswear, golf, active and lifestyle, outdoor, recovery and wellbeing, with a particular focus on the relationship between people, product and performance.

We combine design thinking, consumer insight, material and fabric innovation, commercial awareness and technical product development to turn ideas into compelling, market-ready products.

Whether you need strategic direction, a new product concept, an entire collection or additional expertise to strengthen your existing team, we provide the right level of support, from consultancy through to complete design and development.

About

Experience, curiosity and purpose shape everything we design.

Founded by Kate, KK Sports Design brings more than 20 years of experience across sportswear, fashion, performance and lifestyle product development.

Working across established international brands, specialist labels and ambitious start-ups, Kate has led design and product development across a diverse range of categories, including golf, activewear, performance, outdoor and emerging health and wellbeing products.

Her experience includes work with brands such as Reebok, Ellesse, MyProtein, Figleaves, Calvin Klein Golf & Activewear and Oscar Jacobson Golf, alongside a broad portfolio of independent and emerging brands.

Today, that experience is combined with a deeper focus on design for health and wellbeing, informed by an MA in Design for Health and Wellbeing. This brings a more human-centred perspective to the design process, considering not simply what a product looks like or how it performs, but how it supports people, their lives and their wellbeing.

We believe the best design sits at the intersection of creativity, performance, commercial relevance and purpose.

Our approach is collaborative, considered and deliberately hands-on: working alongside clients, teams and manufacturing partners to turn insight into products that people genuinely want to use, wear and live in.
